In 2016, Odile Vuillemin, who played psychologist Chloé Saint-Laurent, queen of criminology, hung up her jacket and stopped the investigations on TF1. The Profiling audience then had difficulty understanding his decision.

“It’s a decision that was not easy to make, which takes time, months, maybe even years, I don’t know. It’s such a personal decision that at some point, it “It’s true that it becomes an almost perhaps selfish choice. It was a need, a desire at that moment to move forward, to explore something else.”

I learned a lot from this series, but it was also a little hard, because by telling horrors over the years, we become a little permeable (…) and this kind of permeability was quite exhausting. I was regularly strangled, horrors always happened to him!

The production of the show was notified well in advance, so as not to take anyone by surprise, the actress remembers: “It was organized a year in advance. Maybe the public didn’t experience it the same way (…) and it’s quite funny because people still talk to me about it!
It’s always rebroadcast so when I see the public, as was the case when signing my book, there are some who don’t know that it’s stopped! I stopped in 2015, but it continues to exist. The link is still there.”
