Program presented – early and late works at Mozart Week 2023

Rolando Villazón, artistic director of the Mozarteum Foundation, presented the long-awaited program of the Mozart Week 2023 on Monday. In it he wants to focus on the young and the old Mozart. But that’s not the only surprise awaiting audiences in 2023.

“We celebrate Mozart as a child prodigy and as a master,” said Rolando Villazón at the presentation of the new program. In 2023, viewers will be able to hear early and late works by the musical genius. But it’s not just the repertoire on offer that creates excitement for the Mozart Week, which takes place from October 20th to 23rd – international stars of the music scene, such as Anne Sophie Mutter, will interpret the works. New in 2023 will be series of events such as the after work or the museum concerts.
