After Le Secret d’Elise a few years ago, Plan B, or even Visions with Louane, which should soon be on the air, TF1 is trying its hand at the genre series again with Prometheus, a new fantastic fiction composed of 6 episodes whose filming has just been announced by the channel.

Directed by Christophe Campos (Les Bracelets rouges), Prometheus will be worn by two female faces well known to TF1 viewers: Camille Lou, heroine of Le Bazar de la Charité and Je te promet, and Odile Vuillemin, who was the star of Profiling.

While Marie-Josée Croze (Mirage), Thomas Jouannet (Nina, Sam), and the young Fantine Harduin (L’Absente) in the title role complete the cast of this series which, no doubt, will be the one of the events of the 2022-2023 season on the front page.

Produced by UGC Fiction and filmed in the South-West, notably between Mimizan, Hossegor, and Oloron, since January 18, Prometheus tells the story of a 17-year-old girl hit by a car who miraculously escapes without no sequelae, but does not remember anything. Neither where she comes from nor who she is. All she has is a strange first name: Prometheus.

Taken in by those who knocked her down, she begins to have violent visions that connect her to a crime scene whose murderer is still at large. Did she witness anything? Is she involved in this murder? Prometheus, like all the others, would like to know who she is. Especially when she discovers amazing physical abilities…

Created by Nicolas Jean (La Mante, HPI) and Claire Kanny (Off-season), this new series mixing police intrigue and extraordinary powers was written with the collaboration of Fabien Adda (Les Revenants), Solenn Le Priol (Demain nous belongs, Here it all begins), and Christophe Campos.

With Prometheus, TF1 is expanding its French fiction offering a little more since the channel has already recently started filming the mini-series Addict, with Cécile Bois, and the TV movie Champion worn by Kendji Girac. Which thus join Syndrome E, Les Combattantes, or Visions among the fictions expected soon on the front page.
