Marcus and Meike cause the first couple dispute on “Prominent Separated”. In the group game, women and men compete separately.

For “Prominent Separated” (March 8, 8:15 p.m. and RTL+) so far there has only been stress between the different pairs of candidates. Disagreements within the teams only came to light during the games. But in the third episode, the first (ex) couple tears apart: Marcus Muth (36) and Meike Emonts (30).

He’s offended because she didn’t kiss him good morning. He doesn’t seem to have understood the title “Prominent Separated” or the concept of the show. No wonder rumors are circulating in the house that he and Meike are still a couple. This is where the rub lies. Marcus accuses Meike of deliberately ignoring him to refute the rumours. A vicious circle.

The situation escalates, the A-word falls. There’s even a little chase. Marcus packs the bags. But it stays with this threatening gesture. After a discussion and a night’s sleep, (almost) everything is fine again.

“Fish udder” or “jealousy”?

When playing in pairs, Marcus is still so “sad” that he can hardly motivate himself. “Vocabulary” is the name of the task. The couples have to fill a barrel with sea water in order to fish letters out of it. From these they have to form a solution word. Not easy. Table fire, fire table and fish udder finally turns into the letter sequence “jealousy”.

But the worst is yet to come. Letter stones have to be pushed into the right order on a board. However, the teams do not see each other’s game table. “Two stupid people have found each other,” shouts Cecilia Asoro (25) about herself and Markus Kok (42). Lena Schiwiora (25) and Robin Riebling (26) are doing better. You are safe from a nomination.

“Lion” Gigi fails in the group game

In the group game, all men have to play this time. Only Alex Jolig (59) is allowed to stay in the house with the women. Before the group starts, it must be clarified which star is playing for what amount of money. The community entrusts Dominik Wirlend (30) with the largest amount of 2,500 euros. Gigi Birofio (22) is offended that he only gets 250 euros. “Like a lion getting an apple,” he says. When he plays arm wrestling with Patrick Eid (49) for a higher sum, he fails miserably.

A total of 5,000 euros are at stake in the group game, out of a total prize pool of 69,000. The men have to answer quiz questions on a bridge. Clinging to a rope, they stand with their backs to the abyss. Below is a raging river. For each wrong answer, the celebs have to grab the rope below. The pressure on the arms is therefore increasing.

Gigi is the first to let go and falls into the river. Among other things, he did not consider the ruble to be the Russian currency, but the “Russi”. Luckily for the team, he only takes 250 euros down with him. At the end Dominik, Robin and Marcus are still standing on the bridge. After all, they were able to save 4,000 euros.

The women fail in the group game – and disassemble themselves

The women look forward to a relaxing day at the pool. But things are different. They too have to go to the bridge. Only Jenny Elvers (49) can stay with her ex Alex. Same game, same questions. The distribution of the sums is more civil for women than for men. Doreen Dietl (47) has the honor of defending 2,500 euros. She cries with emotion at having gained the trust of her colleagues.

But she disappoints the trust. No candidate manages to stay on the bridge. The 5,000 euros for women are gone, for men only 1,000. “Men are men,” says Gigi of all people.

Although they initially swore solidarity, the women disassembled themselves after the game. Lena was annoyed that Sarah Joelle Jahnel (32) did not fall into the water like the others. Because of her fear of heights, she climbed up onto the bridge. Doreen, in turn, blames Lena for the collective failure.

Nobody has to go on day three.
