How the pricing table works

At first glance, the F16 could well be the perfect ally to lighten household chores. Proscenic indeed promises a complete cleaning in a single pass. The user pushes the device to vacuum and brings it back to him to wash. This movement makes it possible to combine the two functions of the device. However, there is no possibility of activating either one or the other; only two controls are available: one to turn the broom on and off, the other to start a self-cleaning cycle.

@ Proscenic

That versatility is worth two brushes at the Proscenic. A first, made up of nylon bristles, is responsible for collecting debris, while a polymer roller takes care of washing the floor. The docking station, on the other hand, has two water tanks (clean and dirty), as well as a filter to collect waste. Before each cleaning, the user must therefore fill the tank with clean water (with a capacity of 3.3 l), place the cordless broom on its base and start a cleaning cycle to moisten the roller. This done, cleaning can begin; and this, on all types of hard floors, such as tiles, marble or parquet. According to Proscenic, the user would have an hour of cleaning ahead of him, before having to load the broom block for 2 h 30 min.

@ Proscenic

When the cleaning session is over, the user can again place the broom on its base and activate the self-cleaning function. The station then cleans the roller by spraying clean water onto it. The dirty water is then evacuated in the tray provided for this purpose (with a capacity of 3.4 l), first passing through a filter responsible for retaining the waste.

Finally, with 2.35 kg displayed on the scale, the F16 seems easy to handle. For more flexibility, it can be positioned horizontally and therefore easily pass under furniture. Its parking position also allows it to remain upright, without having to lean against a wall.

If Proscenic seems to have optimized the washing function of its mop, we cannot say the same about the suction function. We therefore cast doubt on its effectiveness. For example, no dust bin is provided in the base; the broom doesn’t seem to have any either. To be sure, our experts should soon test it, the F16 being currently between the walls of our laboratory.
