“This year’s storm events show very drastically that we have no time to lose. We are asked to set all levers in motion immediately to prevent the climate crisis. The implementation of climate protection and energy projects takes place directly in the federal states – also in Carinthia. It is important to take responsibility. In order to achieve climate neutrality by 2040, electricity generation in Carinthia must at least be doubled. Above all, wind power and solar energy are in demand here, because they still have the greatest usable potential in Carinthia.”
