The PS organizes this weekend its 80e congress against a backdrop of tensions between Olivier Faure and his opponents, ready to recognize his victory against concessions.

IA few days ago, Sébastien Vincini, one of Olivier Faure’s lieutenants, immersed himself in a book dealing with the congresses of the socialist party. He notably noted the case of the congress of Toulouse, in 1908, which saw Jean Jaurès fight to impose himself within the SFIO, the ancestor of the PS.
