PS4 UPDATE: firmware 11.00 is out with some new features

This Wednesday, Sony Interactive Entertainment deployed the firmware 23.02-08.00.00 for its PlayStation 5, a version of the system software rich in new features. The app PS Remote Play was on the list, between increased compatibility and improvements. This is largely why the PS4 is also benefiting from an update, much more interesting than the one in August.

Below you will find the changelog complete visible when you install on your console:

Version 11.00

Main Features of System Software Update

  • With PS App, you can now log in to your PS4 without a password. On your mobile device, scan the QR code to log in, just like on PS5. Some authentication actions can also send push notifications to PS App.
  • You can now see reactions to messages by emojis.
  • We have improved the messages and the ergonomics of certain screens.

Obviously, if you come across anything new not stated here, do not hesitate to let us know. If you want to buy a PS4, models are still on sale on Amazon.
