PS5: After slim release – Media Markt sells off the “normal” PlayStation 5

For many, the “normal” PS5 is written off after the release of the PS5 Slim. After all, this is the latest version of the console. Or? In fact, it is still worth buying the early models, because there is a really big difference between the PS5 and PS5 Slim, especially in terms of price. Especially if you look at Media Markt, where you can now get the PS5 Digital Edition at a top price.

If you can do without the additional storage space of the Slim or you already have an external storage medium lying around at home, the PS5 Digital Edition is still a good choice. In terms of performance and technology, the slim version hardly differs from the previous models. So you don’t have to worry about being one step behind with the “normal” PS5.

According to the price comparison, you can get the PlayStation 5 in the digital edition at Media Markt at the cheapest price at 399 euros. The price is 50 euros below the RRP, other dealers charge at least around 423 euros for the console. This is not the new slim version of the console, but the previous version without a drive.
