It’s time to take stock for many companies and sony is no exception since it has just delivered its quarterly results for the period from October 1 to December 31, 2022, with all a bunch of numbers for the curious. The Christmas period and the big outings including God of War Ragnarok must have helped a lot, especially since among the past titles, no less than 20.8 million were productions first party. However, these sales are down compared to the end of 2021. And for the curious, 62% of sales were in digital format, so the physical format continues to resist.
Side NHPthe firm counted 112 million active users this quarter, including 46.4 million subscribers to Playstation Plus. This is an increase compared to the previous three months, but still a decrease compared to the previous year. With the games offered at the start of 2023, interest could be boosted.
