PS5 bestseller: A last-gen game hits the charts


Due to fewer releases, the top 10 best-selling PS5 games rarely change. Last week, however, a new PS4 and PS5 hit rose to the top – A Plague Tale: Innocence has surpassed blockbusters like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Well played?

What exactly is being played on the PS5 anyway? As GfK Entertainment reports, there is a new top seller under the PS5 charts – namely the PS5 version of A Plague Tale: Innocence. In Focus Home Interactive’s gripping story-adventure, you accompany Amicia and her little brother Hugo as they travel through plague-ridden France in 1349. Gigantic swarms of rats are only one danger, because the Inquisition is also after them.

According to the analyzes by GfK Entertainment, these are the three best-selling PS5 games of the last week in Germany:

  1. A Plague Tale: Innocence
  2. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
  3. Kena: Bridge of Spirits

A Plague Tale: Requiem is due out in 2022

Incidentally, now is the best time to play the acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence, whatever the platform. This year is likely to be sequel to the game appear: A Plague Tale: Requiem, which continues the story of the two siblings and should offer new gameplay possibilities.
