Various pre-order campaigns for the PS5 are currently running at a large number of retailers. To be more precise, a bundle is offered that consists of either the disc or digital version and the new top title God of War Ragnarök. Perfect for Christmas time? Unfortunately, no.

Because both in the shops and on Sony’s official campaign page, it is clear that you must expect delivery by January 31, 2023 at the latest. It could also be tight before Christmas, because pre-orders can be submitted until December 22nd. It is not known whether consoles will be sent before that.

However, the promotion is perfect for all fans who have been chasing after the console for some time without success. Because now you have the opportunity to get hold of a console almost guaranteed until the end of January. However, you should hurry and find out about the pre-order conditions at the dealer of your choice beforehand.

Because it seems as if Sony has left it up to the trading partners which modalities are used during registration. For example, while you can pre-order at Media Markt and Saturn both in stores and online as a registered customer, you have to be a member of Amazon Prime or pay 100 euros in advance at GameStop.

On the other hand, there are not unlimited consoles available for the campaign. At Euronics, for example, you can no longer pre-order – the available units have been distributed. So follow the links to the shops above and with a little luck you will start February with a new PS5 and God of War.
