PS5 Pro RUMOR: codenamed Trinity, 8K, improved ray-tracing and more info

Whether Microsoft has already claimed that it is not preparing alternative consoles to its Xbox Series X|S for this generation, rumors are rife about a PlayStation 5 Pro on the side of at sony. Already mentioned by Tom Henderson, at the same time as the streaming device Project Q confirmed since, the PS5 Pro is talking about it again this week.

This time it’s Key To Gaming (always by Tom Henderson therefore) who puts his feet in the dish by evoking the PS5 Pro, which would respond to the code name Project Trinity. After the Project Neo (PS4 Pro) and the Project Morpheus (PS-VR), sony still seem to like it so much Matrix and would already present this improved PlayStation 5 at private events, before sending the development kits from next November. The PS5 Pro would be released a year later, around November 2024.

In this PS5 Pro, we would find a memory at 18,000 MT/s (4,000 more than the PS5) and 30 WGP. It’s technical, but it would obviously improve performance, especially the number of images displayed per second, which is boost fps counters and provide better stability in 4Kbut we may also be entitled to a new mode Performance in 8K, without forgetting ray tracing improved. Finally, Key to Gaming affirm that the PlayStation 5 Pro would be the last console of sony for this generationthe Japanese manufacturer would then focus on the development of a PS6.

All of this is obviously to be taken with a grain of salt as long as sony will not have officially presented this PlayStation 5 Pro, whose name could of course be different. In the meantime, you can find the classic PS5 at 516 € on Amazon.
