PSG: Sergio Ramos forfeits against Nice, and absent against Real Madrid?

Sergio Ramos is suffering from a muscle injury in his right calf, PSG said on Sunday on the eve of the match against Nice in the Coupe de France.

Another blow. Regularly plagued by numerous physical glitches since his arrival in Paris last summer, the Spanish defender is forfeited for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France against Nice. But above all, he is uncertain for the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League against Real Madrid, his former team, on February 15.

“We will follow its development day by day. We do not yet know his length of absence, said PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino at a press conference. As always with an injury, you have to observe on a daily basis. We cannot say how long Ramos will be out, when he will be back in training and when he will be able to play.”

A relapse which comes when Sergio Ramos had just chained two games for the first time in the season. He even scored against Reims (4-0) on January 23 in Ligue 1, for his first tenure at the Parc des Princes as a Parisian.

“I don’t know when he will be able to play again. It depends on its development. We will see after Monday’s exams,” said the Argentinian technician.
