A 15th Coupe de France for PSG. Saturday evening, the Parisians beat Olympique Lyonnais 2-1. Despite their return to Ligue 1, the Lyonnais did not achieve the feat. A defeat which disappointed the supporters of the Groupama Stadium in Lyon, where a giant screen and a fan zone had been installed to allow them to follow the meeting which took place in Lille. Europe 1 went to meet them.
At the end of the match, there were few Lyon supporters applauding. Knees on the ground and closed faces are a disappointment for some fans. “I’m disgusted. The 2-1 was just a hope. But in the end, tactically, it was impossible to fight against Paris.” , recognizes a supporter. “In the second half, we had the impression that we could come back,” regrets another. “It’s disappointing because ultimately, there wasn’t such a big gap that opened up between Paris and OL when we thought we were clearly going to be eaten,” adds a third.
“Next season will be the good one”
Disappointed, but still proud of their team and their coach, Pierre Sage. Because this match will have made them vibrate as much as this end of the season. Supporters very far from the clashes which broke out on the A1 motorway, near Arras. Violence that they do not understand and which, according to them, does not represent the values of football.
