PSG: Zinédine Zidane or Antonio Conte to replace Mauricio Pochettino?

Mauricio Pochettino is expected to leave PSG in the coming weeks. Zinedine Zidane and Antonio Conte are the favorites to replace him.

The next season is being prepared behind the scenes in Paris. After winning its tenth title of French Ligue 1 champion, the capital club is now thinking of preparing for the next exercise where it will have to quickly erase the humiliation in the Champions League, the elimination in the Coupe de France and the level too weak in style of play.

While the negotiations are numerous around the Kylian Mbappé case (will leave? will not leave?), it is the coach’s file which is also on the table.

According to Le Parisien, the divorce is imminent between the Argentinian technician, who arrived in January 2021, and PSG. The two parties would no longer want to continue the adventure and the capital club could pay around fifteen million euros to its former player (2001-2003) to release him from his last year of contract.

And to replace him, the Parisian leaders and in particular the decision-makers in Doha only dream of Zinédine Zidane. Only problem, the ex-coach of Real Madrid only wants one thing: the France team.

The other candidate for the position is Antonio Conte. Currently at Tottenham, the Italian would have indicated his desire to come and settle on the Parisian bench.

So who between the two former teammates of Juventus Turin will be at PSG next season? The answer in the next few weeks.
