The PlayStation VR 2 could get an update soon. As a Sony patent suggests, your own voice could soon act as a warning signal.
The company has applied for a patent for the VR glasses, which are about warning of dangers in the environment. So if your pet approaches, your PSVR 2 should be able to recognize it and give a warning signal.

VR glasses should not interfere
However, since Sony does not want to risk you losing a match because you are frightened by the warning signal, there should at least be a computer voice that warns you.
But it is also possible that your own voice or that of the character of the game you are playing is simulated.

Character’s voice as a warning signal
This is how Ethan Winters from Resident Evil Village could warn you when your child comes running. As an example, Sony mentioned the warning “Your son is behind you” in the patent.
Since it is currently only a patent, it is not clear whether the improvement will appear at all. Accordingly, there is no date for the upgrade.
