PUBG: Battlegrounds, bears and the return of Deston in patch 22.1

Krafton has just launched this Wednesday the update 22.1 of PUBG: Battlegroundsher Free-to-play battle royale. Players can notably find the map of Deston, back in random maps. But grizzly bears are also appearing on vikendiguarding valuable loot.

Whether Deston is back, It is Taego which is put aside for a few weeks, the time for the developers to modify it. Regarding the new features brought by this patch 22.1here’s what to remember:

  • Vikendi Season
    • New Creature: Bear – The bears have settled on the frozen battlefields of Vikendi, but they are sheltering from the blizzard and hibernating for the winter. Players can invade their caves for valuable loot, but we all know what happens when you disturb the sleeping bear.
    • Moonlight – The winter wonderland of Vikendi is enhanced by the Moonlight mode, which transforms the map into a soft snowy landscape under the Northern Lights. Players will be able to admire the beauty of the landscape, but will have to remain very vigilant, as there are always enemies around.
    • Thermal bezel – An ideal accessory for scouting targets in dark Vikendi nightscapes and blinding blizzards. The X4 Thermal Scope makes enemies stand out, making them easier to spot.

  • Deston – Based on community feedback, we’re reintroducing Deston to regular matches and working on a plan to reduce the time between map rotations starting this year. The current selection of normal match maps includes Erangel, Miramar, Karakin, Vikendi, and Deston. Ranked matches meanwhile include Eranger, Miramar, and Taego.
  • Competitive season – Ranking is reset for Season 22, giving ranked players another chance to compete for in-game rewards. We’re also giving out Season 21 rewards now that it’s over. Players can also grab Emblems, Parachute Skins, Medals, and Animated Plates from their inventory from the start of Season 22.
  • Adjustments – We continue to improve the gameplay experience of PUBG: Battlegrounds by adjusting weapon spawn rates in 5.56mm and 7.62mm (AR, DMR, and LMG only) to achieve better spawn rates similar and provide players with better options. We’re also removing open-top vehicle models so drivers and passengers are a bit less vulnerable to fire.

This 2.1 update is already launched in PUBG: Battlegrounds on PC and will arrive on February 23 on playstation And Xbox. You can find cards NHP on Amazon.
