If you play video games online, you have a gigantic selection of titles and services. Depending on the platform and publisher, you use certain servers and if they fail or maintenance work is carried out, the online gaming fun is quickly over.
That’s why we’ll inform you here in advance about any announced maintenance work or “down times” that are very likely to come your way. Then you can better prepare for it and not be unexpectedly torn out of your gaming session.
Time out to play
These maintenance activities are announced for the week starting October 16th:
PUBG: Battlegrounds
PUBG: Battlegrounds will be down for console players on October 19th. The maintenance work begins at 3 a.m. and is expected to end at 12 p.m. The developers are rolling out Update #26.1 for Xbox and PlayStation.
Diablo 3
Diablo 3 will be down soon. The maintenance work is scheduled for October 20th at 2 a.m. German time. You can probably play again as usual from 4 a.m. However, in the period beforehand there may be connection interruptions or other restrictions.
Hearthstone
Hearthstone will also be down on October 20th from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. During this period there will be restrictions and connection interruptions.
Warcraft Rumble
Warcraft Rumble will see similar restrictions on October 20th. Connections may be interrupted between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.
If developers or publishers of popular games announce further maintenance work for the next few days, we will update this overview. So keep checking back. If we have missed any announcements about your favorite game, just let us know via our Facebook channel.

Server status on services like PSN, Xbox Live and more
In addition to games, entire online services such as PlayStation Network (PSN), Xbox Live, Battle.net or Origin from EA can also be down. Even if the game servers and services are all working perfectly, there may still be disruptions with internet providers or maintenance work on the DSL and cable network.
