PUBG map: All battle royale maps – PUBG

Available since March 2017 in early access, and a few months later in the final version while arriving on consoles, PUBG is constantly evolving, although the added content is less than a few years ago. So that players can always discover new things, maps are, from time to time, implemented, varying the experience while allowing them to take advantage of unique features.

For example, with the arrival of Paramo, players were able to discover an active volcano and a map that had several versions, while Haven introduced NPCs, not to mention Taego and its “Comeback”, giving players a chance to return in the game if they get killed.

To know all about PUBG mapswe offer you, below, a summary of all the cards of the battle royale, with some details about them.

PUBG Maps

At the time these lines are written, we can count nine playable cards (or which have been). These can be classified into three categories: large maps, medium maps and small maps.

Large maps

Angel

The classic map of PUBG. It offers a varied battlefield, mixing covered areas with many cities, but also open places, favoring distance clashes.

  • 8x8km
  • 100 players
  • Particularities → Ferries

Miramar

Second card to have seen the light of day in PUBG, it is a desert in which the mountains are quite numerous and the sniper fire massively present. Close combat can still be organized in cities, where the buildings can be imposing.

  • 8x8km
  • 100 players
  • Peculiarities → Unique vehicles and weapons

miramar
Taego

More recent, this map introduced several features, such as hot zones and a respawn system after being eliminated (under certain conditions).

  • 8x8km
  • 100 players
  • Features → The Comeback, secret rooms and special weapons

taego

Deston

Arriving in the summer of 2022, this map offers several biomes, favoring all types of combat. This is, according to the developers, the most complete map to date.

  • 8x8km
  • 100 players
  • Features → Fuel pumps, ascender and new weapons

deston

Medium maps

vikendi

Fourth map to be invited into the battle royale, Vikendi offers a snowy environment, although the snow is much less present than when it was launched.

  • 6x6km
  • 100 players
  • Features → The train

vikendi
Sanhok

The tropical map was the third to land in PUBG. If it has often been redesigned, it offers a more dynamic rhythm where the fights are more numerous, in particular because the size is smaller, but the number of players is the same.

  • 4x4km
  • 100 players
  • Features → Trucks

sanhok

Small maps

Paramo

The volcanic environment of Paramo is unique. There are four versions of this map, so each game is different. The pace of the games is also faster.

  • 3x3km
  • 64 players
  • Particularities → The volcano, the lava and the helicopters

paramo
Karakin

This map is not the most popular, and is rarely playable. Karakin immerses us in a mountainous desert, where the players are strongly grouped, which leads to fairly fast games.

  • 2x2km
  • 64 players
  • Features → Destructible walls

karakin
Haven

The smallest card to date. Offers an urban environment, mixing small and large buildings, but also NPCs, for a unique experience in PUBG.

  • 1x1km
  • 32 players
  • Peculiarities → NPC for PvE

haven
Be aware that these cards are not all playable at the same time. The developers have introduced a rotation, and this also allows certain maps to be reworked when they are put aside. The article is updated when new PUBG maps are introduced.
