PUBG Mobile: a partnership with Lionel Messi announced for free-to-play

Krafton keep playing his game PUBG-Mobile through more or less improbable collaborations. After BLACKPINK and Dragon Ball Superthe developers announce a partnership with a living legend of football, namely Lionel Messi. As a reminder, Neymar Jr. has meanwhile become ambassador of PUBG: Battlegrounds This year.

The Argentinian footballer, currently playing in Paris Saint Germain, will be at the heart of a collaboration that will be introduced next November with the 2.3 update. The players of PUBG-Mobile can find in-game outfits and other cosmetic items for a limited time. Lionel Messi says:

Video games have always been a huge part of my life. I find them very useful for relaxing and enjoying my time when I’m not training, and also for deepening my connection with my teammates, friends and families. PUBG Mobile is so much fun, and I am one of millions of fans around the world. I am proud of what I have been able to work on and invite all players to join me on PUBG Mobile.
