The developers of PUBG continue to experiment via PUBG LABS. After car racing and football, we return to a more survival aspect, with the return of the special zombies mode. In ” Zombie Survival » we find something quite simple and basic, similar to Call of Duty’s Zombies mode. It will be necessary face multiple waves of undeadwhich will become more and more numerous and aggressive over time.
Return of Zombie Survival mode in PUBG
The principle is very simple. As a team of four players, you will have to survive rounds of three minutes by eliminating all the zombies present.. If the squad survives, you will be able to move on to the next one. To win the game, you will have to overcome the 10 phases, which will not be easy. You are given 20 seconds of calm between each wave. If you died in one phase, you won’t come back until the next, leaving your team a bit more vulnerable.
To make the experience a bit more complicated, special zombies will also come to attack you. What’s more, you won’t be able to choose your weapons from the start of the game, and will have to buy them with the coins you earn as you go. So, in the first round, you will have a Deagle with 60 bullets, a level 3 bag and an explosive grenade. Everything will be playable in TPP or FPP, only in squad.
The novelties of this mode are in particular with the type of zombies that we will encounter, since special undead have been added:
- Zombies throwing Molotov cocktails,
- Zombies throwing grenades Blue Zone,
- Zombies walking around with grenades in their mouths (only a headshot can eliminate them),
- And zombies with C4 attached to their fel carnal shells.
Naturally, to defend yourself, you will have new tactical objects, such as traps or special grenades. The mode is available in PUBG LABS from February 15 to 28 on PC and from February 24 to March 7 on consoles.
