For 588 euros – that’s 49 euros per month – you can use all public transport in Styria for a year. The KlimaTicket Steiermark introduced this year offers this alternative. On Tuesday, traffic officer LH-Stv. Anton Lang and the managing director of the Styrian transport association, Peter Gspaltl, handed over the 17,777th KlimaTicket Steiermark.
“With the KlimaTicket Steiermark we have an unbeatable offer to convince even more Styrians to switch to our public transport. The cost-effective alternative is very popular and is becoming more and more popular,” sums up traffic officer LH-Stv. Anton Lang. “But we also know from surveys and many personal conversations that not only the price is decisive for a switch – the offer is also enormously important. That is why we will continue to work at full speed on the expansion of public transport in Styria over the next few years,” says Lang includes the Styrian rail infrastructure. “The new annual ticket means enormous savings for many Styrians. I am very pleased that the KlimaTicket Steiermark is so well received and that we are making an important contribution to climate protection,” explains Peter Gspaltl, Managing Director of the Styrian Transport Association.
