Publicis acquires Profitero, a SaaS platform dedicated to commerce and marketing


PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The advertising group Publicis announced on Tuesday the acquisition of Profitero, a SaaS platform (“Software as a Service”, or software on demand) analyzing the sales and “marketing performance of brands on more than 700 e-commerce sites worldwide and for 70 million products”.

“Publicis Groupe will create a unique ‘commerce’ offer on the market combining the technology and analytical capacity of Profitero with its expertise in data, retail-media and technology, to enable brands to accelerate the growth of their online sales,” the group said in a statement.

Profitero’s products, technology and 300 employees will help “further expand and strengthen the ‘Commerce’ expertise of Publicis Groupe all over the world”, he added.
