Pure emotions !: "A miscarriage? That doesn't happen to me – I thought"

A miscarriage is always a very sad and painful experience – and still something completely normal. Around a third of all pregnancies end in a so-called abortion in the first few weeks. And yet a great many women suffer in silence and do not dare to talk about this painful experience. Because miscarriage is still a taboo subject. Right now this will finally end up here!

Double mom Elisa also suffered a miscarriage after her first child. In the ninth week of pregnancy, the doctor found that the embryo no longer had any heart sounds. For Elisa it was a great shock and a very decisive experience that turned her world upside down. Although she knew that the risk of a miscarriage was quite high in the first three months, she was still not prepared for it: "I was totally naive during pregnancy and I was sure that it would not happen to me." Video tells Elisa about her miscarriage, she talks about her feelings, how it happened and how big the taboo subject is still.

Patchwork mom Elisa is part of ours YouTube series ELTERN like us. In regular videos, she reports openly, emotionally and relentlessly about her experiences as the mother of two children in a blended family. Birth reports, quarrels between siblings and what you can do if your daughter doesn't want to go to dad over the weekend are just a few of the topics Elisa honestly reported.
