Putin calls for additional ‘counter-terrorism’ measures in Russia

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Vladimir Putin called on Friday for additional “anti-terrorist measures” to ensure the security of facilities controlled by Russian security agencies, after denouncing an attack by a group of saboteurs in the Bryansk region, in the previous day. southwestern Russia, near the border with Ukraine.

The Russian President was speaking at a meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. Ukraine on Thursday called Moscow’s accusations a “classic provocation” by Russia.
