WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Moscow’s accusations that Kyiv has biological and chemical weapons are false and show that Russian President Vladimir Putin himself is planning to use such weapons in the offensive in Ukraine, US President Joe Biden said on Monday.
Speaking at a business roundtable, Joe Biden said Vladimir Putin had his “back against the wall” and was fabricating accusations that Washington has biological and chemical weapons in Europe. “Simply not true,” added the American president.
The Russians “are also suggesting that Ukraine has biological and chemical weapons. It’s a clear sign that (Putin) is considering using both,” Biden said.
