What if aging was more taboo than enjoying? Aging as you want, taking care of yourself, taking care of your femininity, your self-esteem, this is the inspiring and positive message of Natacha Dzikowski, author of the book Beautiful and well in her age published by Leduc.

It’s a taboo subject : in France, almost one woman out of two does not work after 55 years of age. How to age well in a company, live through menopause at work, continue your professional life without feeling outdated by millennials in the prime of life, reputed to be more agile, less expensive too… Too late to access a position of responsibility in their fifties ? Nerdy before having been at the helm of a management committee?

Aging well, as I want!

Natacha Dzikowski stands in opposition to stereotypes. Age, and the label that goes with it. “We talk about it, but recently… and because more and more of us are doing it”. But behind these few covers, the reality is different”we necessarily represent a 50-year-old woman with short hair, salt and pepper, dressed in pastel colors”and when women’s magazines put a fifty-something on the cover, it’s Sophie Marceau or Andie MacDowell, but “they don’t experience the same thing as us, it’s good that it exists, but it’s not our daily life”.

At work too, women and men are not on an equal footing. According to a recent report by the Higher Council for Professional Equality between Women and Men (CSEP), the employment rate of women aged 55 to 64 (51.8%) in France remains well below that of men in the same age (56%).
