Puy du Fou park triumphs in Hollywood

Cock-a-doodle Doo ! This Saturday March 16, Puy du Fou received, in Hollywood, the “Oscar for Best Show in the World” awarded by the most prestigious international juries.

It was in Los Angeles, the world capital of cinema, that the 30th THEA AWARDS ceremony was held on Saturday evening – the “Oscars” of live performance – which reward the best shows on the planet. And it’s a 100% Frenchie creation that wins the day! The latest creation from Puy du Fou, inspired by the history of cinema, won over the jurors unanimously.

Entitled “The Mime and the Star”, the show awarded by Hollywood, features a gypsy artist, a circus mime during the Belle Époque, who falls madly in love with a famous actress. Welcomed into a film studio, the audience finds themselves propelled into the heart of the action. A giant tracking shot will take the characters into a live film using significant technical means. The whole point of the story rests on the transition from silent and black and white cinema to talking and colored film… But this miracle can only happen thanks to the love of the actress and the gypsy circus mime!
