Pyrénées-Orientales Man shot dead in Perpignan: brother-in-law and father-in-law indicted


The brother-in-law and father-in-law of a 31-year-old man shot dead on February 2 in Perpignan have been indicted respectively for murder and complicity in murder. They were imprisoned.

“The facts are part of a family dispute,” said Perpignan prosecutor Jean-David Cavaillé. The mother-in-law and another brother-in-law were placed on assisted witness status and released.

The victim hit by three shots

On February 2, around 11 p.m., an individual reportedly entered an apartment in an isolated farmhouse and shot three times at the victim who was in his shower.

The victim’s wife was present at the scene, along with their two children, aged 1 and 3, who were sleeping at the time.
