Australian regional daily The West Australian reported on Sunday that the order would include 12 A350s, 20 A321XLRs and 20 A220s, along with purchase rights for a further 106 aircraft.
Qantas, which said it would have a major announcement on Monday regarding the future of its network, declined to comment.
