(AOF) – Quadient has announced that a fourth international carrier has joined its open network of automatic parcel lockers in the United Kingdom. The latter being deployed. Global players DPD UK and DHL were the first carriers to officially confirm their adoption of the Quadient network. “The names of the two other international carriers will be confirmed as soon as they make the new service available to their customers”, specifies the operator of connected parcel lockers and specialist in customer communication management technologies.
Quadient’s ambition on the British market is to reach 5,000 parcel lockers installed in the coming years. With a utilization rate of the more than 150 units already installed which intensifies as the end-of-year peaks approach, the pace of installations should accelerate considerably in 2023 to reach approximately 200 new units per month.
Quadient continues to work towards growing adoption of its network and plans to announce additional partners in the UK in the coming months, ranging from parcel operators to retailers. .
Quadient now operates more than 17,300 units worldwide, in major e-commerce markets such as Canada, France, Japan, UK and USA.
