(Boursier.com) — By letter received on January 16, 2024 at the AMF, the limited liability company under Luxembourg law Vesa Equity Investment, controlled by Daniel Kretínský, declared that it had crossed the thresholds of 10 on January 10 % of the capital and voting rights of Quadient HER. It holds 3,454,896 Quadient SA shares representing as many voting rights, or 10.02% of the company’s capital and voting rights.
This crossing of thresholds results from an acquisition of Quadient SA shares on the market.
Vesa Equity Investment Sàrl declares in particular, for the next 6 months, not to be party to any concerted action with Quadient SA. However, depending on circumstances and market conditions, Vesa Equity Investment Sàrl plans to continue its purchases of Quadient SA shares in order to increase its participation. However, Vesa Equity Investment Sàrl does not intend to acquire control of Quadient SA.
The acquisitions made by Vesa Equity Investment Sàrl were financed by equity and by a margin credit facility contracted with a consortium of international banks.
Vesa Equity Investment Sàrl does not plan to request the appointment of one or more members to the board of directors of Quadient SA.
