Quadient: organic growth of 2.1% in sales in the 1st quarter


(CercleFinance.com) – Quadient publishes consolidated revenue of 256 million euros in the first quarter of 2023, which represents
organic growth of 2.1% compared to the first quarter of 2022.

Business grew by 10.4% (organic) for the Intelligent Communication Automation division, to 58 ME, and by +8.7% (organic) for Parcel Locker Solutions. On the other hand, the Mail-Related Solutions division saw its activity fall back by 1.1% (in organic terms), to 176 ME.

Quadient reports that its business grew by 5.9% (organic) in North America (145 ME) and +2.9% (organic) internationally (24 ME). On the other hand, it fell by 3.8% (in organic terms) in the ‘main European countries’, namely Germany, Austria, Benelux, France, Ireland, Italy, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

In this context, the group confirms its outlook for the 2023 financial year and is confident in its ability to achieve its annualized growth objectives of 3% for the 2021-2023 period.

In addition, organic growth in current operating income excluding charges related to 2023 acquisitions is expected to be around 10%.
