Quantum nugget Pasqal raises 100 million euros

Investments are accelerating in the quantum computing market and use cases are multiplying in different sectors.

This is what the 100 million euros raised by Pasqal, the French quantum nugget based on neutral atoms, will allow. “This is the largest capital raising for a European company in the quantum sector”, rejoices Georges-Olivier Reymond, co-founder and CEO of Pasqal, who can also count on tens of millions of additional euros in debt and subsidies to accelerate its development.

Crowned with the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics for its other co-founder, Alain Aspect, the young French company brings into its capital the prestigious Singaporean investment fund Temasek, as well as that of the Saudi giant Saudi Aramco (Wa’ed Ventures), the fund of the European Innovation Council (EIC) and Bpifrance.
