Quarrel after separation – girl (13) beaten on the street in Graz

In the middle of the Grazer Volksgartenstraße there was a sensational police operation Tuesday evening: Several people, including young people, got into a tangible argument. Several officials had to intervene and separate the arguing. According to the current state of the investigation, a 13-year-old was torn to the ground in the brawl and injured by punches and kicks. The background should have been a separation.

Ten to fifteen people, some of them young people, got into an argument around 7 p.m. at the Grazer Volksgarten. Several police patrols had to intervene. The reason for the argument is said to have been the separation of the 13-year-old from her boyfriend. In connection with this, the young people also reported against the “ex”.

Family wanted to “confront the girl”
On Tuesday, the ex-boyfriend’s family apparently wanted to confront the 13-year-old. Her relatives also came until everything escalated. The 13-year-old was brought to the LKH Graz by the ambulance service to clarify the injuries.

Several suspects – all Austrians – have been investigated and are reported. The exact background of the brawl is still the subject of further investigations by the criminal department.
