FC Basel got an attractive lot in Nyon for the quarter-finals of the Conference League: The last Swiss representative in the European Cup meets Nice. The Basel team first receive the team from the Côte d’Azur before the second leg goes to France. Jordan Lotomba, a Swiss national player, is in the squad for Nice. The stars of the squad are Khéphren Thuram, brother of Gladbach’s Marcus, and Arsenal loanee Nicolas Pépé. Kasper Schmeichel is in goal.
The direct duel with the southern French is a premiere for Basel. In Ligue 1, Nice is 7th in the table, unbeaten in 10 games and celebrating 6 wins. The first leg will rise on April 13th, the second leg a week later. In the semifinals, Basel will meet Lech Posen or Fiorentina (11/18 May) if they are successful. The final will take place on June 7th at the Eden Arena in Prague.

Europa League: ManUnited again to Seville – new edition of the conference league final
In the round of 16 of the Europa League, Manchester United progressed slowly against Betis Sevilla. The winner of the duel between ManUnited and Sevilla will fight in the semifinals (May 11/18) against Juventus or Sporting for a place in the final. Accordingly, the other semi-final is Leverkusen/Saint-Gilloise – Feyenoord/Roma. The final will take place on May 31st in the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
