“Don’t complain!” Son Tom reveals Queen Camilla’s hard life principles

Tom Parker Bowles, 49, is one of the people who knows her best: The food author is the son of Queen Camilla, 77, and is happy to provide information about what makes his royal mother tick. She is a “hard-working” woman who is “full of juice,” he reports in an interview during the Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio UK these days. She has not changed since her husband King Charles, 75, came to the throne and is “carrying on with full force”, whereas another person might have withdrawn. And he reveals that this quality has apparently always been Camilla’s maxim, even in her private life. “She was a great mother,” enthuses the father of two – and reveals: “If you have to do something, she says: ‘Just go ahead, do it, don’t talk about it, don’t complain’.”

Host Christ asks: “If your mother shows up at one of your events or one of the food festivals, how is it today compared to before?” the moderator wants to know. “I don’t think she’s really changed,” assures Tom. “You’ve seen her a hundred times – she hasn’t changed. I think her job description may have changed. Her job has changed massively. Most people retire at her age and she’s going all out. She’s a workhorse .”

After rumors of crisis: Prince Harry has meaningful words about Meghan

It won’t be quiet for Prince Harry, 40, and Duchess Meghan, 43. The royal couple is under constant observation: after four years in self-imposed exile, is their love still strong enough or is it in danger of breaking? The Duke of Sussex’s most recent solo trip to New York once again fueled rumors of crisis, and his current single trip to his home country is once again pouring fuel into the lurking flames. But the royal scion now belied all nasty speculations behind the scenes at the “WellChild Awards” in London and touched a female fan with an emotional reaction to her gift.

When ten-year-old award winner Scarlett Cripps met the royal after the ceremony, she gave him a set of crystal hearts – a blue one for himself, a green one for his son Prince Archie, 5, a yellow one for his daughter Princess Lilibet Diana, 3, and a purple crystal heart for Meghan. The young laureate’s mother later revealed to the Mirror more about the conversation between King Charles’ son, 75, and her daughter: “Scarlett told Harry that she filled the crystal hearts with love and that whenever he had a bad day or had a sad day, needed to squeeze the heart to show him how special he is and make him smile. He said it was a nice gesture and that he didn’t see his wife and children because he traveled here so he’ll take it out later and squeeze it and it will remind him of his dear wife.” These literally heartwarming words should not sound after a crisis between the ducal couple.

Queen Margrethe: She misses the opening of parliament for the first time

While her son King Frederik, 56, is attending the opening of parliament in Christiansborg with his wife Queen Mary, 52, and Princess Benedikte, 80, Queen Margrethe, 84, has to stay at home. The former monarch has so far taken part in more parliamentary openings than almost any other royal in Denmark – and yet she is unable to attend the ceremony on Tuesday.

Since, according to “Billed Bladet”, she is still on sick leave, Margrethe for the first time decides not to be present at this historic event. The 84-year-old had broken her hand and injured her cervical vertebra in a fall two weeks earlier, whereupon she was immediately taken to Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. How long Margrethe has been on sick leave is currently not publicly known. Since September 20th she has at least been back in her home at Fredensborg Castle.

Prince Harry speaks about his own experiences as a father at the WellChild Awards in London

Prince Harry, 40, attended the WellChild Awards in London on September 30, 2024 and impressed with a sentimental speech that not only referred to the young award winners and their parents, but also included private details. For the son of King Charles, 75, fatherhood is a web of all feelings. Harry points out: “As a parent, I know a little about the emotional rollercoaster that is parenthood.”

A statement that every parent would surely agree with: from overwhelming pride to unconditional love to pure desperation and endless discussions with the little creatures. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are now five and three years old and are certainly keeping their parents busy.

Duchess Meghan’s husband, 43, has been a patron of the non-profit organization for 16 years. The awards honor children and young people who have “come to terms with a serious illness or disability despite all odds,” as it says on the official website. The Duke of Sussex did not miss the opportunity to express his admiration for the families. “When I hear what many of you mothers, fathers and family members do, the around-the-clock care you provide, the skills you have had to learn and the battles for support you fight every day, I am truly impressed,” said the former senior royal.

Harry’s relationship with his father King Charles seems to be further strained. As “People” reports, there will be no meeting between father and son during the 40-year-old’s visit to Great Britain. The prince is expected in Lesotho, South Africa, in a few days. There, Harry wants to present new projects with his charity that are intended to help young people in Africa.

King Charles’ stepson Tom Parker Bowles reveals details about his cancer treatment

There are completely un-royal words that Tom Parker Bowles, 49, slips out in a new interview: King Charles’ stepson, 75, recently published a cookbook with the picturesque title “Cooking and the Crown: Royal Recipes from Queen Victoria to King Charles III”. On the occasion, Queen Camilla’s son, 77, gives a detailed interview to British “Vogue”. And it is – how could it be otherwise given the name of the cookbook – also about the monarch in places.

The 49-year-old reveals, among other things, that King Charles was getting the “best treatment” for his cancer. And yet at the end of the day the worries are still there. “Cancer is really a bastard,” says Parker Bowles, who then tries to get the royal curve: “[König Charles] is a great man and a tough man and you just have to keep going. Of course, everyone whose loved one has cancer is worried.” But the treatment itself is going “well,” as the 49-year-old explains.

Princess Theodora of Greece: Wedding guests share private photos

On September 28, 2024, Princess Theodora of Greece, 41, walked down the aisle and said her wedding vows in front of her husband Matthew Kumar, 40, and numerous wedding guests. Alessandra de Osma, 36, was among the friends invited. The model insisted on publishing some private photos on his Instagram account – thereby providing an insight into one of the “most beautiful weekends” of her year.

The first photo shows the Princess of Hanover alongside her sister-in-law Ekaterina von Hanover, 38. The two women pose for a photo together in front of the Cathedral of the Annunciation, where the royal wedding took place. The 36-year-old admits: “Not many pictures from the most comfortable and beautiful weekend in Athens to celebrate Theodora and Matthew!” Apparently the guests enjoyed the celebration to the fullest, so they didn’t use their cell phones.

The wife of Christian Prinz von Hannover, 39, shares two more pictures. One from the beach in Greece and another of Alessandra smiling into the camera with a drink in her hand. “At least I have a nice one with my dear Ekat and two others from the beautiful beach at the beginning of autumn. Pure bliss,” she enthuses about the weekend.
