Princess Kate is “thrilled” with well-wishes

At a public appearance today, Queen Camilla accepted moving get-well cards for Princess Kate, who was suffering from cancer.
After it became known a few days ago that Princess Kate (42) was suffering from cancer, Queen Camilla had another appointment on the agenda for the first time this Wednesday, March 27th, where the wife of King Charles III. (75) came into contact with the people. In the city of Shrewsbury in the west of England, the Queen visited, among other things, a farmers’ market, and on this occasion received warm wishes for the sick Princess of Wales, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

A crowd of 2,000 people gathered in Shrewsbury, not far from the border with Wales, to greet and cheer Queen Camilla. On the occasion, Camilla also accepted hand-drawn get-well cards for Kate, which were handed to the Queen by two young local girls.
“I know Catherine is thrilled by all the well wishes and support,” said the 75-year-old as she accepted the touching cards with the promise to give them to Prince William’s wife (41). In an interview with the British newspaper, one of the two girls explained afterwards that she had made the poster “to show Kate my love.”
Queen Camilla rushes from appointment to appointment
With her appearance in Shrewsbury today, Queen Camilla becomes the most senior member of the royal family to return to the public eye since Charles and Kate’s double cancer was announced. King Charles took part in a small meeting at Buckingham Palace yesterday, March 26th, and appeared fit and animated on the occasion. Queen Camilla, for her part, welcomed yesterday, among others, “The Crown” star Helena Bonham Carter (57) at the literary reception of her book club “The Queen’s Reading Room” in Clarence House.
Meanwhile, Prince William is taking a break from his royal duties until after the Easter holidays to be there for his wife, who is suffering from cancer, and their children. The family of five is currently trying to regain strength in the seclusion of their country estate, Anmer Hall, near Windsor Castle. At the same time, the children Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5) should be shielded to a certain extent from the media hype following the announcement of Kate’s diagnosis.
