Your grandson blasphemed the family in front of millions of TV viewers. But the Queen shouldn't be mad at Harry and Meghan.

Queen Elizabeth II (94) is reportedly "sad" and "not mad" about the Oprah interview. Prince Harry (36) and his wife Duchess Meghan (39) had raised accusations of racism against an unnamed member of the royal family in the TV appearance on Oprah Winfrey (67) in early March. The Queen then initiated an internal family investigation into the allegations and issued a statement saying that Harry and Meghan remained "loved" family members.

The situation that arose from the TV interview is said to have made the Queen "sad", "The Sun" quotes an insider. "She's not angry, she's just sad," the anonymous source reportedly said, according to the newspaper. The Royals have always been worried about Harry and his grandmother has a great protective instinct towards him. "You always tried to support him when Meghan came along." Members of the royal family are reportedly less concerned now that he has Meghan by his side "because he seemed so happy".

Peace talks are ongoing

Prince Harry, who moved to California a year ago with Meghan and their son Archie (1), is said to have regular contact with the Queen after the "Megxit". After the Oprah interview, in which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not criticize the Queen or Prince Philip (99), but very much the rest of the close relatives, there should be initial talks between the Sussexes and Prince in the past few days William (38) and Prince Charles (72) have given. According to British media reports, the "peace talks" are said to have been "unproductive".
