Madame Tussauds exhibits the monarch’s clothes
For Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, Madame Tussauds in London will be exhibiting replicas of the monarch’s gowns.
Madame Tussauds is planning a special exhibition in honor of Queen Elizabeth II (96). As part of the monarch’s platinum jubilee, the Wax Museum is displaying seven dresses that the Queen’s wax figure has worn over the years. The event starts on May 27th and is scheduled to last for two weeks Mail Online reported.
The exhibits include a replica of the robe worn by Queen Elizabeth at her coronation in 1953. A replica of her coat of the Order of the Garter is also to be exhibited.
Mega concert planned for the Queen
Queen Elizabeth celebrates her 70th anniversary on the British throne this year. Among other things, Buckingham Palace is putting on a mega concert on June 4th. Stars like the band Queen, Diana Ross (78), Alicia Keys (41) and many other music greats are scheduled to perform on the day.
A big jubilee celebration for the Queen took place at Windsor Castle on May 15th. The event was moderated by Hollywood star Tom Cruise (59).
