Queen Elizabeth II will soon be welcoming US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden to Windsor Castle.

Queen Elizabeth II (95) will welcome US President Joe Biden (78) and First Lady Jill Biden (70) to Windsor Castle on Sunday, June 13th. The palace gave this Thursday (June 3rd) known.

On the occasion of the G7 summit, Joe Biden will make his first trip to Europe since taking office and will attend the G7 summit in the British region of Cornwall from June 11th to 13th. He will then pay the Queen a visit. The British monarch has recently held most important meetings virtually due to the corona pandemic.

Catch-up date for Trooping the Color

On June 12th, one day before visiting the Bidens, the monarch is to take part in a special event again: in 2021, the previously unusual birthday parade in honor of the Queen, also known as Trooping the Color, is to be rescheduled.

After meeting the 95-year-old, Biden is also planning a trip to Brussels for the NATO summit and an EU-US summit.
