Anyone who wants to work and live at the Queen can apply now. Buckingham Palace is looking for a pastry chef, among other things.
Apparently there are vacancies in Buckingham Palace. For example, Queen Elizabeth II (95) is looking for a pastry chef. According to the job advertisement, applicants should have experienceto create the delicacies for royal banquets and receptions. Food is to be delivered “of the highest quality”: “As expected, the standards and attention to detail are exceptionally high here, and every day is filled, so you should be an ambitious and qualified pastry chef with at least a year or two of experience.”
Traveling with the Queen
In addition to the salary, there is also the option to live on site, according to the advertisement. The budding royal confectioner always has the monarch close by. The main workplace is the ad after Buckingham Palace in London. Traveling to the Queen’s other residences is also part of the job. On important occasions such as visiting heads of state, Elizabeth II supposedly inspects the details herself before eating.
