Queen Elizabeth II also has to deal with small problems: During a video call, their connection briefly broke down.

Short-term problems with network connections do not stop at the royals, not even the Queen: Queen Elizabeth II (94) now caused smiles with her reaction to an internet wobbler. Last week, the 94-year-old met for a video call with representatives of the auditing company KPMG. This recording has now been published on the Queen's official YouTube channel. And in one scene it gets strange.

When John McCalla-Leacy reports on his experience in the company, the connection seems to have been severed for a brief moment. "Excuse me, Mam, I think we just lost you briefly," McCalla-Leacy tries to save. "I'm not sure you could hear me right now." The Queen smiled away at the embarrassment but with a lot of charm and understanding for the current situation: "You are just gone, all of you." Your interlocutors acknowledge their reaction with a collective smile.
