Queen Elizabeth II came to the opening ceremony of the Welsh Parliament with a walking stick.

Queen Elizabeth II opened parliament in Wales. She appeared for the appointment wearing a pink ensemble and a walking stick.
Queen Elizabeth II (95) this Thursday (October 14th) the Welsh Parliament opens in Cardiff. The 95-year-old wore a pastel-colored outfit for the occasion. She paired a pink coat by Stewart Parvin with a Welsh daffodil brooch with a matching hat, which was also decorated with flowers.
Her son Prince Charles (72), who bears the official title of Prince of Wales, and his wife Duchess Camilla (74) accompanied her to the appointment. The Queen reappeared with a walking stick that she had with her at a Thanksgiving service at Westminster Abbey last Tuesday. The last time she was spotted with a walking stick in 2003 and 2004. At the time, she had a medical reason for this due to knee surgery. This time the walker is said to have only served as a relief.
“We are all indebted to all of those who have faced the challenges of the past 18 months so magnificently,” said the Queen according to the British “Daily Mail” in her address in parliament regarding the corona pandemic. “They are shining examples of the spirit that the Welsh are so famous for, a spirit that I have personally met so often.” It is a particular pleasure for them “that both the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, together with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, had a home in Wales and were able to experience a very special sense of community.”
