Queen Elizabeth II has only positive things to say about her corona vaccination. It "didn't hurt at all" and "went very quickly".

Queen Elizabeth II (94) has commented on her corona vaccination, which she and her husband Prince Philip (99) received earlier this year. In a video call, the monarch spoke to those responsible for the vaccination campaign in Great Britain about her experience. "It didn't hurt at all," says the 94-year-old, emphasizing: "It happened very quickly and I received a lot of letters from people who were very surprised at how easy it was to get the vaccine."

She now feels "protected", which she thinks is very important. She understands that some people are afraid of the vaccination, "but they should think of other people rather than of themselves," is her appeal. The corona pandemic is "unusual" and "a bit like a plague, because we have the virus not only here, but everywhere," said the Queen. "It's a strange fight we're all fighting."
