Queen Elizabeth II .: There is an official ceremony for her birthday

Queen Elizabeth II (94) has to do without a big spectacle in honor of her birthday this year. The Trooping the Color military parade, traditionally held in June, has been canceled. But apparently it doesn't work without celebrations. According to "Mail Online", a palace spokesman confirmed that there would be a "small, short military ceremony at Windsor Castle" in June. The date is June 13, 2020. Troops of the Welsh Guards are said to offer a royal greeting.

It was hoped that the monarch could attend the ceremony, but that was not yet certain. It would be the Queen's first major public appearance since early March. Since the lockdown in Great Britain, she has been in corona isolation at Windsor Castle together with Prince Philip (98).
