These TV stations broadcast the funeral procession live

The Queen’s coffin is brought from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall on Wednesday. Numerous stations broadcast the funeral procession.
Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) is great. Next Wednesday, September 14th, Great Britain and the rest of the world will say goodbye to her before the funeral on September 19th: A funeral procession will take the coffin from Buckingham Palace to Parliament. ARD, ZDF and RTL broadcast special programs on this day.
In the “Exclusive Special: Goodbye Queen – The World Bows” RTL will report live from London. The two-hour show, which starts at 3 p.m., is moderated by Frauke Ludowig (58). She welcomes Guido Maria Kretschmer (57) and nobility expert Michael Begasse (56) in the studio, who will classify the mourning procession.
ZDF also reports live from London. The broadcaster goes with a “ZDF special: Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II.” on air from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. It is presented by ZDF editor-in-chief Peter Frey (65). At his side are the ZDF Royal expert Julia Melchior (47), ZDF correspondent Diana Zimmermann (51) and the historian Karina Urbach (51).
The funeral will also be broadcast live on TV
The station has already announced that it will also report on the Queen’s funeral with a “ZDF special” on Monday, September 19. “Immediately after the ‘ZDF-Morgenmagazin’, ZDF will broadcast live from the funeral ceremonies and the state funeral in London,” the announcement said. “Hundreds of heads of state and government, members of royal families and other dignitaries are expected in the British capital.”
From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the first on Wednesday will also change its program. The broadcaster broadcasts the funeral procession live, commented on by Leontine von Schmettow (59). The show is presented by Julia-Niharika Sen (55). The normal afternoon program, which normally has the daily programs “Red Roses” and “Storm of Love” to offer, among other things, has to give way because of the special broadcast.
Funeral procession through London
On Wednesday, the coffin containing Queen Elizabeth II will be transferred from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall. The procession is accompanied by King Charles III. (73), his siblings Princess Anne (72), Prince Edward (58) and Prince Andrew (62) and his sons Prince William (40) and Prince Harry (37). Many Britons are expected to line the streets during the procession.
The train will pass through Queen’s Gardens, The Mall, Horse Guards and Horse Guards Arch, Whitehall, Parliament Street, Parliament Square and New Palace Yard. Following the arrival of the coffin at Westminster Hall, the Archbishop of Canterbury will hold a brief service in the presence of the Royal Family, which will also include The Very Reverend Dr. David Hoyle, Dean of Westminster, will attend.
Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8th at the age of 96. According to media reports, around 2,000 mourners are expected at her state funeral on September 19 in London’s Westminster Abbey.
