The British royal family often follows the motto "keep quiet and hold out". The Royals are not silent about the interview with Harry and Meghan.

After the interview by Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39) with Oprah Winfrey (67, "What I have learned from life"), which was devastating for the British royals, Queen Elizabeth II (94) broke her silence. According to a statement from the Queen of the United Kingdom: "The whole family is sad to see the full extent of how challenging the past few years have been for Harry and Meghan."

Racism allegations are "worrying"

The issues raised in the interview broadcast in almost 70 countries, especially the racism allegations, are "worrying". Meghan had stated in the conversation with talk icon Winfrey, among other things, that there were allegedly concerns about the skin color of their first baby before the birth of their son Archie (1). It is not known which member of the family Harry is said to have asked about it. Winfrey later made it public that it should not have been the Queen or her husband, Prince Philip (99).

"While some memories can vary, they are taken very seriously and addressed privately by the family," the statement continues. Harry, Meghan and Archie would always be "much loved family members".
