In Oise, a 7-year-old child received a very special letter last July … a letter signed by the hand of Queen Elizabeth II!

A lovely gesture. Last April, as Queen Elizabeth II lost the love of her life and her 74-year-old husband Prince Philip, a little boy decided to write to him. From the top of his 7 years, Noah, indeed wished to offer him his condolences, reports The Scout The Dispatch. With the help of his grandmother, Sylvie, he sent her a letter from the town of Saint-Aubin-en-Bray, in the Oise.

“I wanted to offer my condolences and comfort her. I lost my grandfather and I understand his sadness ”, he explains to the local news site.

If the child hoped to shed some light on the sovereign of England at this difficult time, he did not expect her to answer him… three months later. On July 27, young Noah was fortunate to receive a very special letter from Queen Elizabeth II. In this official letter, she thanks him for “The little note of sympathy sent after the death of my husband”, before imposing her signature: Élizabeth R. Still according to The Scout The Dispatch, the envelope is just as unique as the message. On the back, there is indeed the arms of the royal family of England. The little boy also had the pleasure of discovering a cardboard letterhead from Buckingham Palace with the photo of Prince Philip. No doubt he will keep this mail very carefully! His dream today: to meet His Majesty in person.
